Since I qualified in Traditional Foot Reflexology in September 2012 I have taken part in numerous courses to benefit my clients. These include:
- Post Recovery Care Course - a term designed to apply to acute and chronic imbalances where symptoms continue afterwards.
- Indian Head Massage - lying face down / face up
- Reflexology for Menopause
- Facial Reflexology & Advanced Facial Reflexology
- Fertility Reflexology (including supporting clients going through assisted conception)
- Reflexology Lymph Drainage - - an award winning reflexology technique by Sally Kay which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to stimulate the function of the lymphatic system and drain excess lymph from the damaged area using a unique sequence. This technique can be used to help with conditions other than lymphoedema including; arthritis, asthma, eczema, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, ME, sinus problems. migraines. headaches, muscular tension, aches and pains and pre-menstrual syndrome. Clients are contacting me to tell me how amazing they feel after this treatment.
As a reflexologist I work from my very relaxing treatment room in Basingstoke, Hampshire - only 10 mins from Hook. Please refer to my facebook page for recent feedback from my clients and images on my website of my treatment room. I am a proud member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) and the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR). The membership of these two organisations proves that I am trained to a high standard and ensure my knowledge is always up-to-date. As a member of the ARR I regularly take part in webinars to discuss complex cases in order to assist my fertility clients. It is such an incredible feeling when a fertility client announces their pregnancy!
Reflexology can help with; fertility issues, fibromyalgia, stress, pain, pregnancy, auto-immune conditions, peri-menopause, menopause and many other conditions.
Reflexology can help with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. In February 2019 I took part in a one day Acupressure Facial Therapy Course in London. As of April 2019 I have already carried out over 400+ treatments on my clients and I am receiving amazing feedback! Please refer to my Facebook page to read the reviews. Many clients comment that they have never experienced such a relaxing treatment. I incorporate Facial Reflexology and Traditional Foot Reflexology with the Acupressure Facial Reflexology treatment and clients literally fall asleep!! I am now trained in RLD (Reflexology Lymph Drainage) - an award winning reflexology technique by Sally Kay which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet.
Please do take a look at the different of reflexology treatments I offer including; Fertility Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology, Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), Traditional Foot Reflexology, Acupressure Facial Reflexology and Facial Reflexology! The only treatment I offer outside of reflexology is Indian Head Massage (this 30 mins treatment can be added on to a 30 mins Facial or Foot reflexology treatment). I offer a package called 'Pure Bliss' (lasting 90 mins) for those who need some serious relaxation! You can opt for one of two options. Option 1 = 30 mins Indian Head Massage, 30 mins Facial Reflexology & 30 mins Traditional Foot Reflexology. Option 2 = 30 mins Facial Reflexology followed by 60 mins Traditional Foot Reflexology. I offer gift vouchers for anyone looking for a special gift for their loved ones (especially for Christmas, birthdays, mothers day and fathers day). On receipt of your payment I can send out a the gift voucher free of charge either to you or directly to the recipient. If you have left your present to the last minute I can send out an 'e-Voucher'.
In 2014 I trained in Indian Head Massage (IHM) with Louise Keet in London. You can benefit from an Indian Head Massage when you book a 'Pure Bliss' (90 mins of relaxation) or a one hour treatment (you can opt for 30 mins Indian Head Massage followed by 30 mins Facial Reflexology or 30 mins Indian Head Massage followed by 30 mins Traditional Foot Reflexology. This treatment is extremely popular! Please refer to the Pure Bliss page for more information.
I took part in a 4 day course by Barbara Scott for Fertility Reflexology (known as 'Reproflexology') in 2014 which was amazing and my clients are benefiting from my training! You could say it is life changing! I am seeing an increasing number of clients who come to me for Fertility Reflexology (some being diagnosed with unexplained infertility or secondary reflexology) and I am getting some amazingly positive results! In May 2021 I was contacted by a client I met on a Zoom Fertility Consultation with me who was all ready to start a second round of IVF to find she was pregnant after one treatment! Please note that this doesn't always happen. During the Fertility Consultation we discuss where you are in your fertility journey, how long you have been trying, if you have had an tests carried out at the hospital, your current stress levels, occupation, ovulation timing and reason(s) why you think you may not have conceived yet. With some clients I have found that they are constantly on the go and with regular reflexology treatments it slows them down and makes them realise how they never slow down or sit still. Infertility is extremely stressful for everyone involved, I work with both female and male clients. Please refer to the tab 'Fertility Reflexology' for further details. I am constantly reading about developments in the world of fertility and taking part in Webinars to increase my knowledge! For some clients it is just ensuring they are trying at the right time of the month. No one ever discusses the signs of fertility before you start trying for a baby and I ensure that the fertility rules are as clear as possible. My room is a very private area and is a space to talk.
In March 2015 I took part in a two day Maternity Reflexology course with Sally Earlam. One recent pregnant client gave me some amazing feedback! "I don't know what you did during your last treatment but I feel amazing! I'm not totally without pain but I manage much better. I can't describe it. I feel like my old self. You clearly pressed the right buttons - thank you so much!!!". I love the fact that most of my successful fertility clients go on to enjoy treatments during their pregnancy. It is so wonderful to witness their bump grow and to hear stories of their births and of course meeting the little one at the end! It is ideal if you can book in around week 38/39 for a 'very calm' treatment prior to trying to 'get things going'. This is because the body needs to get used to the reflexology treatment. I am being contacted by an increasing number of clients trying to avoid labour who have gone well over their due date but I do need to give one traditional reflexology treatment prior to trying to 'getting things going'. It is so important to have some 'me' time before your baby is born as it can be a very busy time.
In March 2016 I took part in a 'Mindful Reflexology' course by Sally Earlam to support my clients suffering from stress, anxiety and depression. Reflexology has been shown to aid relaxation and improve well-being. This course gives me extra techniques and sequences that can be used to help support the body systems in these difficult times. A number of my regular clients are benefiting from my new techniques including my fertility and pregnant clients! I recommend a treatment consisting of the facial reflexology and traditional foot reflexology for anyone suffering from anxiety/depression. Clients feel so calm when they leave my treatment room which is amazing.
In February 2017 I trained in Facial Reflexology with the world renowned Ziggie Bergman. It was beyond fascinating to train to work on the face rather than the feet. There are reflexes on the face just as there are on the feet and as the reflexes on the face are closer to the brain than the feet you will find yourself drifting off to sleep even quicker. The benefits of facial reflexology include; working with organic facial oils (making the treatment so luxurious!), leaving your skin glowing and your whole body feeling relaxed. It is so rewarding to see my clients float out of the room after a treatment. As the Facial Reflexology treatment is 30 mins long you have the added benefit of a 30 mins Traditional Foot Reflexology to make the treatment an hour long. It really is a head to toe treatment! In June 2017 I look part in the Advanced Facial Reflexology course adding additional reflexes to my already popular treatment! My clients love it and are constantly re-booking!
On 24th November 2018 I attended a lecture day in London with other ARR practitioners with a fascinating lecture from Alpesh Doshi of IVF London and our very own Barbara Scott. I learn so much about Egg & Sperm donation and feel much more educated when it comes to helping my clients. I was also taught some hand reflexology techniques to make it easier for my fertility clients to improve their cycles in between coming for treatments. My clients love giving themselves hand reflexology and you can see the benefits on many of their temperature charts. Hand reflexology is extremely easy to do on yourself.
Learning new skills is so important to me and my clients certainly benefit. I only take part in the very best courses in the UK by the very best tutors in their field of expertise. On 28th February 2019 I took part in a one day Acupressure Facial Therapy Course in London. This has already benefited my clients who experience sleep problems stress, anxiety or emotional issues. This treatment is also very beneficial for deeply relaxing the CNS. Due to its non invasive nature and effects on the nervous system its very supportive with clients with conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
In September 2019 I took part in a Louise Keet course in London entitled 'Power Reflexology'. This course was extremely insightful and will give me even further skills to help my clients on a physical, emotional and energetic level. I learnt how to work on the chakras in the body to get the body to 'reboot' itself. It may be you have been dealing emotionally and physically with an illness, trying to conceive or dealing with family issues. Power Reflexology is ideal for you. Power Reflexology can be included for 20 mins within a traditional foot reflexology treatment so you don't need to book separately for this. Since taking part in the is course a number of my fertility clients that have conceived has doubled!
In June 2020 I took part in RLD (Reflexology Lymph Drainage) course - I was taught an award winning reflexology technique by Sally Kay which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. On 20th August 2020 I received my certificate to confirm I passed my case study!!! What is incredible is that a client suffering from oedema couldn't believe she had to tighten the strap on her shoes on leaving my treatment room as her feet had shrunk during the treatment. The result was instant! This side of my business is really starting to take off!
In September 2020 I took part in a Louise Keet course in London entitled 'Spinal Reflexology'. You always hope that a course will make a difference to your clients well-being and this certainly didn't disappointed! By working down the spinal reflexes it allows me to target the organs and glands associated with that area. For example by working the cervical 1 reflex it can help with; headaches, insomnia, high blood pressure, chronic tiredness and dizziness. Conditions such frozen shoulder enable me to target where the cause may be on the spinal reflex(s) rather than just working on the shoulder.
On 17th February 2021 I took part in a course entitled 'Post Recovery Care Course' and I already know my new skills will make a difference to my clients! Post Recovery Care is a term designed to apply to acute and chronic imbalances where symptoms continue afterwards. It can be applied to many situations including: Post viral recovery - including Covid-19, Post-operative recovery. Post chemotherapy and/or radiation, Post pregnancy, Chronic fatigue (short or long term), Any post recovery situation (from a common cold through to major injuries and disease) and Acute and Chronic conditions.
In October 2021 I officially launched 'Reflexology for the Menopause'! I am now offering reflexology techniques and lifestyle ideas for supporting women through menopause. This covers the perimenopause, menopause and beyond. After your first appointment I will email you a leaflet, created by myself, with advice covering the five factors for healthy menopause; Diet, Exercise, Relaxation, Sleep and Purpose. This will simply summarise everything you need. There are specific reflexology techniques that can help someone suffering from menopausal symptoms. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
I have a brand new treatment coming in September 2022. I have passed the qualification but I need to pass the case study before I can work on clients. All will be revealed around June/July 2022 - the wait will be worth it! It has the potential to take years off your face. This treatment is recommended for men and women!
If you / your loved one isn't a 'foot' person then I offer a combined 30 mins Indian Head Massage followed by a 30 mins Facial Reflexology Treatment which is so extremely relaxing! It is not uncommon for clients to fall asleep. I use Neal's Yard Rose Facial Oil during all my Facial Reflexology treatments which makes the treatment feel luxurious. This is for the same hourly rate of £38. Please email me to book in or call me on 07801 968 211.
I offer a range of daytime appointments from Monday to Friday (usually at 9.15am, 10.45am, 12.15pm and 1.40pm - although times can vary). My treatment room is located in RG21 3LL so perfect for those who live in Basingstoke, Hampshire and surrounding areas including Hook and are looking for a reflexologist nearby. If there is a space on my drive outside 8 Meadow Road then you are welcome to park there or immediately outside my treatment room if finding a space is a problem). Reflexology improves your well being and when my clients leave me they look and feel so much more relaxed than when they first arrived! I do offer a monthly Saturday appointment but these are very popular for those clients that work full time.
I offer Fertility Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology, Traditional Foot Reflexology, Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), Acupressure Facial Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Facial Reflexology. I also offer reflexology for Stress and Anxiety. I have clients who visit me from Basingstoke and surrounding areas.
I offer gift vouchers for those looking for something special for their loved ones. The voucher is valid for 12 months (please do give me a call if you go over the 12 months) and the P&P is always free. I can also send you an e-voucher if it is easier. You can choose a specific treatment or a value so your loved one can choose their own treatment. A great present for someone who is looking for; reduced stress levels, improved sleep and increased well-being. Many clients who book with a voucher become regular clients! I am fully insured and passed my one year diploma with the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR).
If you are looking for a reflexologist in Basingstoke, Hampshire to help you with conditions such as; fibromyalgia, fertility issues and/or chronic fatigue then please don't hesitate to contact me.

A Typical Session
I will send you a client consultation form in advance of your first treatment to ensure you receive your full one hour session. This form asks you questions relating to your medical history and lifestyle (this form allows me to put a bespoke plan together and takes less than 5 mins to complete). I require the full payment upfront for your first treatment only (I provide you with my bank details in your confirmation email).
Just before the treatment I will ask you to remove your shoes and socks and lay back in my very comfortable couch which is fully adjustable. Due to Covid-19 I put a freshly washed fitted sheet for every client. Hand sanitiser is always available in my room and I do encourage my clients to wear their masks. You may wish to wear leggings, tracksuit bottoms or loose trousers to make your experience more comfortable. If you are coming from work in your work attire then that is totally fine.
The treatment is not ticklish as I use a firm but comfortable pressure when working on your feet. Once the treatment has finished you should feel very calm and refreshed. It is important to ensure you drink plenty of water after the session and the next day.
Having completed a course of treatments you may find it beneficial to continue with regular sessions to maintain health and well-being. My clients really feel the benefit of their regular sessions.
Is it safe to have reflexology during your pregnancy?
Absolutely! I was trained in reflexology for pregnancy with the amazing Sally Earlam (a member of the AOR Board) and have been lucky enough to work with a number of amazing clients - many of whom have had really positive birth experiences. Some clients visit me weeks into their pregnancy whilst others wait until their three month scan. I work with clients to improve the side effects of their pregnancy -morning sickness, PPGP (pelvic pain) and tiredness to name a few. Clients travel from Andover, Hook and Odiham to come and see me with their bumps.
